ParticipantOn Android, I used the Smuuvr Extension on Kiwi Browser. A great brower with a great extension. Kiwi Browser however has now been archived 🙁 The extension code for Kiwi Browser is now integrated into Microsoft Edge Canary. Any possibility to make the Smuuvr Extension work for MS Edge?

KeymasterHey – thanks for the suggestion and for the info, this is indeed a great idea. I will do what I can to get Smuuvr working for Edge.
Out of curiosity, why not use Google Chrome where you can get the extension working currently? Or do you use Chrome on desktop and you’re specifically talking about using Smuuvr on Mobile?

KeymasterHey just to follow up on this old thread, this extension is working for Edge browser, too.
LMK if you have any issues.
Cheers

ParticipantGreat!!!.
I can confirm the extension works for Edge browser on desktop now. On mobile there aren’t many browsers that can handle extensions. On kiwi browser it has always worked, but that browser unfortunately retired. Alternative was Edge Canary.
I got it also working now on Edge Canary with your new version!
It only accepts extension install by ID or .crx file, so I installed the extension on edge browser desktop, then packed it to .crx file and installed it on edge browser mobile. (I don’t know if that is allowed? Sorry in advance, but it works)
Maybe an idea to make a .crx package on website for public? - This topic was modified 6 months, 3 weeks ago by
